SCHOLARSHIPS
The Fred Novack Scholarship Fund is officially open for the 2026-2027 school year. The Fred Novak Scholarship Fund is to support students in K-12 grades and those enrolled in a Religious or Seminary order. All scholarships are limited to $1,500.00 per semester and not to exceed $3,000.00 per school year. Scholarships are paid directly to the school where the student is registered.
You must be a verified registered parishioner with Sacred Heart Church and attend Mass regularly. Your child must be registered in a Lincoln, NE Diocesan parish school to qualify or the student must be in a recognized Catholic Religious or Seminary order. A written essay or volunteer time with Sacred Heart Church is also required for consideration of a scholarship. All volunteer time must be signed off by an event coordinator or the office and completed before the end of the school year. Please contact the office for a list of voluntary opportunities if interested.
To apply, download the the appropriate form and submit it to the office. Be sure to include all required documents, before the final deadline such as proof of registration and the tuition you are required to pay after any grants or monies are applied.
The deadline to submit an application is November 1, 2026.
